The prelude to the musical segment begins with a dance opera featuring Sohini Moksha, renowned for their Flamenco-Natyam style of dancing which is a fusion of the traditional Indian Bharatnatyam and Spain's traditional Flamenco.The dancers will be painted on the spot by Artiste Subodh Poddar, the Dancescapes Maestro from India.
Dr. Shihab Ghanem, the venerated UAE poet will be felicitated for being the first Arab to receive the prestigious 2013 Tagore Award from India for his magnificent contribution to the Arabic language and the world of poetry.
